Anglo Stainless are an accredited supplier of stainless steel pipes, fittings and flanges. Established in 1987, the company has grown from a small family business to a provider of a wide range of steel products and services, able to deliver worldwide with short lead times.
We were recently engaged by Steve Brooke from Anglo Stainless to produce some promotional material for their website and social media accounts.
We were given full creative control over the promo video and wanted to make sure that it would work equally well with or without sound, because of the platforms that the video was going to be shared on. We added annotations to the video, which were in keeping with the company branding and style. Of particular interest were the machining services that Anglo Stainless provide, which are uncommon among their competitors, and which we wanted to highlight through the video.
We also produced a ‘news report’ / interview-style video with Steve, which gave him opportunity to speak about the company, and would help to put a face to the brand and offer an insight into the business.
In May 2022, we returned to Anglo Stainless with new skills and a new digital publication, producing an advert and a featurette for Anglo Stainless that featured in the June 2022 edition of The Metal Magazine.
This interview with Steve gave him the opportunity to talk about his plans to extend and expand their stock range, and explain why the quality of service that his team provides and the product knowledge that they have are what sets Anglo Stainless apart from their competitors.
We also visited sister company Helmrick Engineers to speak with General Manager Mark Webster about the experienced team that drew him to work at Helmrick Engineers himself, and how he now plans to invest in training and expanding the workforce to continue to push the company forwards.
We produced an advert-style video for Helmrick Engineers too, which showed off some of their precision engineering facilities and machinery. The video was looped when uploaded to YouTube, so that it would appear to play multiple times when viewed in the context of the digital magazine.
“I was looking to get a new video for my business, and had spent some time getting quotations, but I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted. Pete contacted me at an opportune moment to talk about his new business, and because of his background in the metal industry, he really understood what it was that we were trying to show our customers and said he could help.
“He created a video for our business, and also shot an interview video with me which allowed me to talk through our business offerings. I think everyone gets a little nervous when a camera is running, but it was actually good fun doing the interview. Pete spoke to me before I got on camera, and throughout the interview to make sure I was comfortable.
“Pete is really passionate about social media and its benefits for business. He spoke to me about social media content, and how we could use it for our campaigns. He also created a number of short form videos, that we will be using in our content campaigns going forward.
“If you work in the metal sector and you want video content for your business, I’d have no hesitation in recommending Pete at Comton Media.”
